Papua made a new Indonesia’s record for painting last weekend. (1/12)
This record made by about 12,000 children in 9 different Districts in a same time.
The Republic of Indonesia’s symbol, Burung Garuda, was chosen as the object of painting. This symbol was chosen not only because it is already well-known by the children, moreover, the painting activity was held to grow their interest in national patriotism.
Enthusiasm and joy seen while these Papua young generation doing the painting.
The event was initiated by Cenderawasih XVII MAC and supported by local District government. At the end of the event, the Indonesia Museum of Records (MURI) gave the sertificate for the new record.
